Montanuniversitaet Leoben (MUL) is the major and oldest University dealing with raw materials in Austria.
It covers the entire range from extraction of raw materials (mining) to mineral processing, metallurgy and finally recycling. The Chair of Mining Engineering holds a long tradition in mechanical excavation and conveying engineering and especially the development of new and innovative mine designs and layouts.
